Creating Patterns
For the more complex shapes we like to use our Pro Liner which maps the 3D shape to generate a 3D model, we can then skin this model and create your cover pattern. With both our 3D and Cloth patterning process, access to the kitchen is required or a supplied 3D model can be imported if available.
Fixings
There are several options available based on the shapes and surfaces of your kitchen for securing your outdoor cover. We can utilise turn locks, Velcro, straps, or buckles—whichever option best meets your needs. Each fastening method is designed to ensure a snug fit that protects your kitchen against the elements, while also providing ease of use when you need to remove or replace the cover.
Fully Tailored
We will take into account all the shapes of your kitchen including any additional appliances you have integrated into the design like BBQ’s and Sinks. All the kitchen elements can be accommodated ensuring the cover has no movement and protects the kitchen fully. We can also add reinforcements to areas that are sharp and protrude.
Kitchen Cover Fabric
Our Stormshield + fabric is our go to for out door kitchens as it is waterproof and breathable. It has a fleecy backing giving the fabric durability and UV stability making it the perfect choice. However if you have specific requirements we can offer a range of alternatives.
Colour Choice
The Stormshield + Fabric is available in Black or Grey. Our covers not only provide excellent protection but also add a touch of elegance to your outdoor space.
Shaped Kitchens
As every cover is tailored, we can section the cover into manageable pieces, so no matter how large or small the cover is we can adapt it to your needs. All covers come with their own storage bag so can be stored away when not in use.
Design & Development
It’s important to note that each tailored cover incurs a design and development cost, which varies based on factors such as location. To assist in providing an indicative quote, please provide your location and an image of the kitchen.

You will find fitting videos and downloadable PDFs to support with the wide majority of queries and customer FAQs. There are also dimension sheets and product brochure for more details.
As every kitchen cover is tailored so is the design and development time and cost. We are based in West Yorkshire and to obtain dimensions we will need to send two designers to your property who will then create a pattern. This pattern, either digital or cloth will then have to be processed back at the factory to generate a 2D pattern that we can then cut your cover from on our CNC. This process and cost is totally dependent on how far away you are from us and the complexity of the cover. This can range approximately from £599-£999.
A second option is we group the patterning to a number of other jobs that are local, to reduce the cost but this can greatly effect lead times, approximate cost £399-£599.
The third option is that the customer supplies the dimensions but this is at the customers discretion and we cannot be held responsible if the cover doesn’t fit, approximate cost £149-£345
At certain times of the year in particular autumn you will find that dew is laying on grass, window sills, garden furniture, caravans, cars etc. This will still happen underneath your cover because it is touching a cold piece of metal, fibreglass or wood and reducing the air flow between the cover and the object its covering. There’s no need to worry, the condensation will vaporise as the temperature rises and it will escape through your cover. If you are concerned you can perform a bucket test on the cover and fill a section to see if water passes through the fabric. If the water passes through and the cover is within its 1 year warranty please contact our customer service team.
As every kitchen cover is tailored we will require access to the physical kitchens to get the dimension. We have a number of methods to take the pattern from traditional cloth to creating our own 3D model. If you have access to a 3D model of the kitchen that can be supplied the design team can work directly from this. The design and development will be quoted and charged for separately from the cover cost. Once we have established the location of the kitchen we can send you a quote for D&D at which point you can decide if you wish to proceed.
Our outdoor kitchen covers are made from our Stormshield + fabric that we use for our car covers. This well tested fabric is waterproof and breathable with a high tensile strength so perfect for the job.
